The PB-3 PANDORA is the solution for a red dot sight with a large viewing window, a closed transmitter, and is reliable and durable. Like the Promethean LP-1 from the same brand, the PANDORA features new design characteristics and a selection of new materials.

Specifications:

Window 30% larger than the Aimpoint ACRO® P2 (22 x 17 mm).
Sealing plates at the front and rear which serve to seal the lenses by sandwiching the transmitter housing for added safety and protection.
7075-T6 aluminum case with type III hard anodized finish
Brightness controls are recessed on top of the red dot.
Powered by a CR2032 battery – capable of operating for over 30,000 hours in various daytime settings.
Serrations on the case for better grip when moving the bolt carrier while supported or with impaired dexterity (sand, rain, etc.).
Spacer around the lens for one-handed pistol slide manipulation.
Front and rear protection of the red dot to preserve its integrity in case of load movement (rack) on a shelter (wall, vehicle etc).
Beveled leading edge of the battery compartment to facilitate return to the holster.
Red dot with a size of 3 MOA.
ACRO® P2 mount. Your red dot sight will be compatible with all mounting systems that can accommodate an ACRO® P2.
To use the PANDORA on a Glock MOS you must use an ACRO plate for MOS (not supplied by Glock) available here.

Finishes:

All L&S aluminum components are finished with a type III hard anodized coating. This is the treatment offering the greatest resistance to impacts and friction for aluminum.

No other treatment can equal a type III anodized coating, including Cerakote or Duracote.

The resulting color from this treatment may vary slightly from one PANDORA to another.

The PANDORA is filled with nitrogen at the factory during its manufacturing process.
Do not attempt to remove the sealing plates or disassemble the optical assembly, which is purged, nitrogen-filled, and sealed to resist fogging. Any attempt at disassembly may void the warranty.

Utilisation

Le PANDORA est un point rouge fermé utilisable sur arme de poing ou en back-up sur une arme longue. Résolument conçu pour une utilisation professionnelle tant pour sa durabilité que sa résistance aux intempéries et éléments exterieurs pouvant altérer l'utilisation d'un point rouge
Le PANDORA conviendra aussi aux tireurs sportifs recherchant un point rouge fiable, durable et ayant une grande fenêtre dégageant ainsi le champ de vision du tireur.

Conception et Confort

Le PANDORA est en aluminium. Comme beaucoup de point rouge haut de gamme.

Mais à la différence des autres points rouges en aluminium, son revêtement a une anodisation dure de type III.
L'anodisation est le traitement extérieur de l'aluminium. Il existe trois types d’anodisation. Le type III est l’anodisation la plus dure. Cela permet au PANDORA d’avoir un revêtement plus durable, plus résistant aux rayures et aux chocs que les point rouges n’ayant pas reçu ce traitement

L’une des choses innovantes du PANDORA est le fait qu’il soit scellé et rempli d’azote. L’azote va éviter l’infiltration de l’humidité à l'intérieur. Problème récurrent chez d’autres marques de points rouges fermés

Le placement des vitres avant et arrière:

La vitre avant, en plus d'être placée avec un angle rentrant, celle ci est bien en retrait du bord extérieur. L'intérêt est ici de préserver son intégrité en cas de choc, tels des mouvement de "rack" sur l'optique

Des protections métalliques sont présentes à l'avant et à l'arrière du PANDORA afin d'accroitre encore plus sa solidité et sa durabilité

Buttons:

The PANDORA only has two buttons

To increase (>) or decrease (<) the intensity of the red dot

Ignition:

To turn on the PANDORA, simply press one of the two buttons. The Pandora will turn on at the same brightness level as when it was turned off.

Extinction:

Press and hold (2 to 3 seconds) the increase (>) button to turn off the PANDORA

Intensity level

The PANDORA has 10 intensity levels, 3 of which are compatible with night vision goggles (levels 1, 2 and 3).

In the box

You will find:

A TORX key is required to install the PANDORA. This will also be used for adjustment.

A cloth for cleaning glass

A QR code will direct you to a user guide.

No batteries are supplied with the PANDORA

Materials and Construction

Structure made entirely of aluminum with type III hard anodizing

The PANDORA is sealed and filled with nitrogen. The nitrogen prevents moisture from seeping in.

Battery compartment cover also made of aluminum

Sealing is ensured by two aluminum protectors located at the front and rear of the PANDORA, thus increasing its robustness.
