Medic - Stop the bleed

The "Stop the bleed" courses have their origin in an American initiative, starting from a simple postulate: a victim suffering from a serious haemorrhage can succumb to his injuries in a few minutes, even before help arrives.

Each witness can then be the key first responder, if equipped and trained.

This training aims to give trainees the ability to identify serious bleeding, and to dry it up by manual compression, by packing and/or by placing a tourniquet.

This training is aimed at the general population wishing to be able to act on a daily basis.
