The Floodlight is a universal holster, designed to accept almost any gun capable of accepting a Surefire X300U A/B or Streamlight TLR-1/TLR-1 HL light, depending on the option you select.
To accomplish this, many features are smoothed, rounded, and regularized to accommodate the various shapes, sizes, and dimensions of this wide array of firearms.
Adjustable retention is included, allowing the user to increase or decrease the friction retention on the light body to adjust the draw to their liking. Turn the screws holding the ModWing clamping hardware to adjust the retention to your preference.
To ensure the best possible fit and retention on the widest variety of guns, the Floodlight is a two-piece design, like the Skeleton holster, but features adjustable sliding friction. By shortening or lengthening the Shockcord connecting the two halves, users can reduce or eliminate play, rattle, and slop when changing between guns with different slide sizes.
The Floodlight, like the Skeleton, is ambidextrous and can be worn on the appendage or strongside hip, using soft loops (included) or clips. Reduced ergonomic molding and a smooth profile enhance comfort in a variety of wearing positions.
Like all PHLster cases, the Floodlight can accommodate suppressor sights, threaded barrel and compensators, and slide-mounted red dot optics.
