Inline Scout Mount Key Mod
The patented Arisaka Inline Scout Mount is specially designed for the Surefire Scout Light M600 and M300 series, Arisaka 300 and 600 series, Olight Odin and Streamlight Protac Rail Mount 1, 2 and HL-X weapon lights.
It replaces the stock Picatinny rail adapter with a low profile mount for KeyMod handguards.
The mount is especially useful on handguards that feature 45 degree angle mounting "flats", such as Bravo Company KMR, Daniel Defense MFR, Knight's Armament URX 4, MI Gen 3 and Mega MKM.
This new version is made from 7075 aluminum for superior strength and uses BCM's patented reverse KeyMod screws with two recoil tabs for easier installation and a solid connection to your handguard.
When used on a flat mount at a 45 degree angle, the Scout Inline mount allows the user to position the light closer or farther from the top rail to allow space for front sights or other accessories. Three positions are provided, allowing for 0.12" offset either side of center.
The base of the Surefire Scout Light sits just 0.2" above the mounting surface.
Installation Tip: In order to keep the overall length of the bracket as short as possible, it is necessary to unscrew the rear light cap to gain access to the forwardmost mounting screw.
This mount is not intended for use as a cantilever, hanging from the end of the handguard. It may cause the assembly to fail if there is a strong impact on the light.
Fit with front sights varies depending on mounting location on handguards with 45 degree flats.
