Two LEDs form the base of the lamp - one white LED and one ultra-bright red LED.
Two output power settings are available for each LED color:
 Low power 1lm red beam with a range of 1m and a battery life of 96 hours.
 High-power red beam of 3 lm with a range of 3 m and a battery life of 60 hours.
• Wide white beam of 50 lm at low power, with a range of 23 m and a battery life of 12 hours.
• High-power focused white beam of 200 lm, with a range of 39 m and a battery life of 3.4 hours.
Two AAA alkaline or lithium batteries power the headlamp.
A single rubberized button, mounted on the top, operates and changes the modes of the headlamp. A tilting arm bracket allows for easy adjustment of the beam angle.
