Indexing M-Lok - Arisaka
The Arisaka lug is an evolution of our minimalist, low-profile support accessories.
It was developed due to end-user demand for an M-Lok version of our Finger Stop for Picatinny rails, and features a slim front-to-back profile and a slight radius on both faces.
The index finger can be used in different ways, but the main purpose is to place it between two fingers (usually the index and middle fingers).
This generally places it further forward on the handguard, which also means it does not get in the way when transitioning to kneeling or prone shooting positions, where most people move their support hand to the rear.
Used in this way, the indexer greatly facilitates pulling the rifle into your shoulder and maintains control during firing.
In addition, the indexer's wider, flatter profile works very well as a hand stop or barricade stop, and also functions as a front limit to prevent your fingers from slipping off shorter handguards onto a hot barrel or suppressor.
