Compressed Gauze - H&H

H&H compressed gauze is an alternative, or an aid, to chemically active hemostatic gauze such as Quickclot combat gauze or Celox rapid. Composed of 3.6m of sterile cotton without chemical hemostatic action, its density allows for significant blood absorption and mechanical tamponade of bleeding wounds.

Used alone in packing, or in addition to hemostatic gauze in the case of a very damaged wound requiring large quantities of gauze to fill the wound, it has the advantage of a less rapid expiry (no loss of effectiveness over time) and a lower cost.
