Finger Stop ARISAKA - Picatinny
The Arisaka Finger Stop was developed as a minimal, low profile control accessory. This version is for Picatinny rails.
The Finger Stop has a slim profile that is ergonomically designed to sit between your index and middle fingers. This usually puts it further forward on the handguard, meaning it doesn't get in the way when transitioning to kneeling or prone shooting positions, where most people move their supporting hand backwards. The wider profile also works as a backstop, for those who prefer it there.
Additionally, the Finger Stop also works as a front shim to keep your fingers from slipping off shorter handguards on a hot barrel or suppressor, and as a barricade rest.
The Finger Stop is secured to the rail by two nylon tipped set screws (torque at 15 In/Lbs).
Due to the low profile design, the Finger Stop must be installed by sliding it over the Picatinny 1913 rail. The fit is very precise to the Picatinny 1913 specification, so out of spec or damaged rails may cause difficulty when of the installation.
