These Magnum MILSPEC scopes are certified to meet US military standard MIL-PRF-32432A for ballistic fragmentation characteristics in accordance with clause 3.8.4.1. A pair of Magnum scopes can withstand a high-velocity impact with a .15 caliber projectile fired at velocities between 700 and 725 feet per second, providing the user with unparalleled eye protection.
The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) is a U.S. non-profit organization that creates uniform testing standards. Magnum eyewear meets or exceeds the ANSI/ISEA Z 87.1 – 2015 standard, which outlines the requirements for eyewear. Lenses meeting the Z87.1 standard are tested for basic and high impact on both lenses and frames, exposure to non-ionizing radiation and chemicals, and resistance to flame and corrosion.
