The HPC-Evolve vest, the Khimaira x HXTC vest!

This product is the result of nearly 2 years of development, with numerous tests, prototypes, comparisons... Having collectively within Khimaira, been led to use many vests over the years, it is the sum of the feedback that led us to synthesize our preferences in this unique plate carrier.

Furthermore, our close relationship with the units and professionals during training and advanced courses has allowed us to collect a large amount of feedback, mainly during the development phases.

Design and specifications:

With a basic structure made entirely of fiber (Tegris / CURV), the vest comes in the form of an extremely rigid and robust "harness".

All internal surfaces feature female Velcro. In addition to comfort, this offers unparalleled modularity, allowing users to position, as they wish, comfort pads, anti-trauma pads, and soft or rigid ballistic protection on the sides.

But also the flexible ballistic inserts for administrative use, which are easily placed inside the vest, and whose use is not correlated with the use of rigid plates, because its structure allows it to stay in place.

The modularity continues at the shoulders and their fastening system. Supplied as standard with a double plastic D-ring, you can equip it with the buckle of your choice; the 25mm (1 inch) straps make them compatible with many models available on the market (Duraflex, Cobra Buckle mini, MilSpec Metal D-Ring, etc.).

Here, the inside of the vest allows us to see the mounting options, which in addition to allowing the use of any buckle available on the market, allows you to choose between 2 spacings, standard and "Slim" (for very small sizes), and also 3 different heights, chosen at the time of assembly.

For the upper part, our system allows a wide range of adjustment, with a mechanical locking tab, much more reliable than Velcro fasteners.

The cummerbund offers elasticity through shockcord ties, for several reasons.

The user can choose their braiding and the rope they use, in order to obtain the desired support.

This system also offers a wider compression area than its competitors on the market, where resistance is achieved through a non-adjustable elastic fabric.

Once in place, the user can adjust the fit using the elastic band under the plate, a system similar to Crye Precision's AVS, while maintaining the same front configuration. Whether you're wearing a combat shirt or a cold-weather jacket, marching 12 kilometers or engaging in a brutal assault, you'll always benefit from optimal comfort and support.


The innovation of the HPC Evolve cummerbund.

During the development of this plate carrier, we wanted to recreate the support offered by the Storm or the AVS, the minimalism of an FCPC V5, the ease of use of a JPC.

The result was this unique double cummerbund, offering the best of every existing vest.

The design allows for the mounting of MOLLE pouches inside and outside, but also within the cummerbund itself.

This one has a tab that fits inside a slot on the inner face of the front plate, allowing for optimal positioning and a "cage" effect around the wearer's chest.

Here, the user can secure one side of their choice using a Velcro located within a housing inside the front plate bag, for configurations where the user puts on their vest like a jacket, from the support side.

On the front, in addition to the possibility of Velcro closure, the user can choose between multiple heights for the placement of their quick buckle.

With its 3 lateral textile loops on the front, you could use all existing lockers on the market, with Velcro, G-Hook, ITW loop fastening...

Mounting accessories inside the cummerbund helps maintain the smoothest possible profile, while offering optimal accessibility in all conditions.

You can choose to place comfort pads on the inside, so that you don't feel your equipment such as radio, charger etc. directly on your ribs, or you can also place soft ballistic protection.
